Q: How many entries can I send to Write Tales?
A: Each entrant is allowed to submit a maximum of two (2) short story entries only.

Q: Can I use local lingo and terms to write my story?
A: All stories must be written in English. The rare application of local slang or other languages will be considered in its relevance to the overall feel, flow and concept of the story. This will be determined by the panel of judges.

Q: How do I know of the latest happenings on Write Tales?
A: Do bookmark and visit us from time to time. All activities on our school workshops, events, showcase and important announcements, press and radio placements will be listed at NEWS & EVENTS.

Q: When is the closing date?
A: The closing date is 12 noon, 31st March 2016. Any entries received after this will not be entertained and accepted and will be declared null and void.

Q: How will I know that my entry is accepted by the organisers?
A: All entries sent via this website will receive an email informing them of receipt of the entry. If you do not receive an acknowledgement notice from us within 3 days of your submission, do submit your entry again.

Q: Is there an age limit to the contest?
A: The contest is open to all Malaysians only aged 12 years and above. Entrants are to fill in their NRIC numbers on the entry form besides other particulars.

Q: Do I have to pay to enter this contest?
A: No. There is no fee involved.

Q: When will the winners be notified?
A: Winners will be notified via email and contact telephone numbers as given in the submission form within 2 months of the closing date.

Q: How do I send my entry?
A: You are to submit your entry as a PDF document via the online submission form in this website. Just to go “Upload Your Story”. Please note that your name and particulars must not appear anywhere on your entry. Please see Rules & Regulations for more details.
